Elopements and micro-weddings are my jam. I am all about breaking the tradition of spending your wedding day the expected way. You want to spend the morning on the river – yes, I will be there. You want to hike to a lake and skinny dip – it’s your day, you do it! Whether you want it to just be you and your fiance or have your closest people involved – I will be there capturing it all.

Legal Stuff of Getting Married in Wyoming?

In Wyoming, both partners must appear in person with a valid photo ID and pay a $30 fee – there is no waiting period. I recommend scheduling your appointment 1-2 business days before your elopement or wedding – you’ll want to do this in the town of where you’re getting married.

Once you have it, you will entrust your marriage license to your trusty officiant – me if you choose. They will file the necessary paperwork signed, sealed, delivered, and MARRIED!

Permits – permits are required in National Parks – both Grand Teton and Yellowstone. Each park has designated areas for larger groups or dispersed areas that could be options. When this was written, permits are not required to be married on National Forest Land in Wyoming if groups are less than 75 people.
